About
Siavash is currently a senior lecturer and academic developer at Sheffield Business School. He lectures in Business Operations and Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Architecture (EA), Strategic Management of Information Systems, and Knowledge Management.
As an educator and academic developer Siavash has been involved in planning, design and delivery of transformative and innovative curricula and learning and teaching solutions in corporate market as well as academia at international level.
In addition to his academic role Siavash leads the Enterprise Systems Center of Excellence (ESCE). The center aims to foster teaching, learning, research and practice excellence in the area of Enterprise Information Systems, Business Process Management and Enterprise Architectures. He is a founding member of the Global SAP University Alliances (SAP UA) Business Process Management and Enterprise Architectures Roundtables and leads the development of SAP UA BPM and EA curriculum programmes. He is also an invited member of the Open Group Business Architecture Forum, contributing to the co-development of a Business Architecture Framework, methods, and competency models.
With over 15 years of experience as a Consultant in business optimization, strategic performance management, value management, information design, continuous improvement, human resource development, and technology innovation in various sectors including Higher Education, Technology, and Professional Services, Siavash has contributed to the transformation of businesses, strategies, processes and technologies of many organizations.
Siavash maintains currency as a practitioner by taking an active interest (non-IT inclusive) in academic and industry projects and research in the areas of Business Process Management (BPM), Business & Enterprise Architecture (BA & EA), Business-IT Alignment, Open Source, Technology Innovation and Educational Leadership.
