Modules previously taught: 'The City in Literature' (Level 4), 'Early Twentieth-Century Literature' (Level 6) and 'Introduction to Poetry' (Level 4).

Research:

Ph.D. thesis 'Liminal Entities: Transition and the "Space Between" in the Short Fiction of Mansfield, Richardson, Sinclair and Woolf' (University of Hull 2007).

Monograph 'Modernist Short Fiction by Women: The Liminal in Katherine Mansfield, Dorothy Richardson, May Sinclair and Virginia Woolf' (Ashgate 2011).

Current research interests include early twentieth-century dystopian fiction, 'Intermodernism' and Dorothy Miller Richardson's short fiction and periodical publications, including her Saturday Review Sketches.
